"Understanding The Character of God"
This debut book, "Understanding The Character of God," is a two-part study guide that is over ninety pages long. It is full of helpful information, connections, passages of scripture, and visuals to help make understanding the nature of God's character easier to grasp.
It is often difficult to wrap your mind around the vastness of God and the Bible. I wrote this book specifically to help you understand God's nature and character in a way that is more easily obtainable while sticking to exactly what is explained in scripture describing God.
It contains a complete breakdown of the key verse studied, Exodus 34:6-7, plus a complete dissection of the five attributes of God from this key passage.

The more we understand God's design, the better we're able to identify in Christ alone, and accept the TRUTH of our REALITY. There is only ONE REALITY, and that is Jesus is the Savior of the world.

Jo has always been a reader, writer, and now a debut author, as several books, poems, and guides are in the works.
The first book published is the free eBook above, "Understanding The Character of God". It is more of a helpful study guide for studying God's word and corresponds with two of the new episodes on season three of the Well for Goodness Sake Podcast on the same topic, God's character.
This eBook will be followed soon by the extended version of "Understanding The Character of God", a book currently being written, which will be available in paperback when published on Amazon and also Amazon's Kindle Unlimited.
This is the best place (after the newsletter) where new publications and works-in-progress will appear, including cover releases, title releases, book blurbs, and more that God is doing through writing.
This is for young women and women currently. Christian Children's books are also in the works, along with poetry.

Understanding the Character of God
One day, you realize what HE has done, and that’s when you recognize REALITY!
Book 1 is an extended paperback and/or hardcover version of the FREE eBook above. Currently in development, and will be available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited upon publication.
This will be the debut book of many to come (Lord willing), filled with personal testimony and reflection, in addition to an extension of the in-depth Bible study and research on God's nature and character already completed in the FREE eBook. This will include truth from scripture, new context, and fresh perspective while furthering the study of the key passage, Exodus 34:6-7.
This is taking it one step deeper and exploring God's character in a way that applies to our lives today, and is presented in a way that is hopeful and encouraging for you.

A LITTE ABOUT JO
Jo is married to Cesar, mama to three little girls, author, writer, poet, lyricist, and host of the “Well For Goodness Sake” Podcast. Cesar and Jo are an interracial couple who met early in 2010 and married almost three years later, at the end of 2012, in a small town in Florida.

Jo grew up on a four-acre farm, milking cows and goats, chasing chickens, raising barns, and baking bread. She was homeschooled alongside her seven siblings, and her daddy was a pastor for over fifty years.
She has always loved people, writing, music, reading, and speaking about Jesus. In 2020, she was prompted to turn the business she had built online over to the Lord for ministry, and thus, the Well For Goodness Sake platform blossomed from influencer/blogger to the "I speak Jesus" podcaster platform.
Jo accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of seven, and though it has been an imperfect life, flawed by human inabilities and burdens, she'd rather walk ten lives in the fire with God by her side than a single day of bliss without Him. In 2019, she wrote a love series of poems inspired by 1 Corinthians.
Her first and favorite poem from that series goes as follows:
I Choose Jesus Christ
I chose Him once, so long ago,
I remember. I know, I was only seven.
But life is short, the trail undone,
some joys, then burden ridden.
I need Him now, just as I did then.
Weary I fall, but from grace not forbidden.
I choose Jesus Christ.
I do it all, my strength is rare,
but eventually, I fall.
All the work towards the endeavor,
my successes now seem small.
All over again, so hard I'd work,
more freely love, putting first Him, my ALL.
I choose Jesus Christ.
Loss of them, gone away, disquieted within.
In fear of losing some, I chose myself again.
Saddened, empty, darkness crowds,
thankless in anger, I'm responsible, yet blame.
Relentless I stand, yet powerless, and small,
truly alone, now I cannot remain the same.
I choose Jesus Christ.
Strong, brave, human, am I actually alone?
Oh, if only you could see all the battles I have fought.
I'd rather choose to live for Him
then pass on to find Him naught
than to live all my days without Him,
to find Him real, but never sought.
I choose Jesus Christ.
You chose me once, so long ago,
'twas years before my seven.
Now, finally, at the end of self,
life's trail, all burdens in You, hidden.
Full peace, never alone, joy surpassing pain and loss,
by faith and truth, I'll finally see You, and all who've passed, in heaven.
